Susan Gutierrez, MD

Susan is a pediatric gastroenterology fellow at University of California, San Francisco. She is an NIH T-32 research fellowship recipient and her research interests include pediatric intestinal failure & intestinal rehabilitation. Committed to the belief that all children with intestinal failure deserve to live up to their fullest potential, she is using a combination of large database analysis and qualitative methods to uncover the mechanisms driving health disparities in this chronic disease.
